Regueiro, Francisco
b. 1934, Valladolid
   Filmmaker and writer
   A graduate of the IIEC in 1961, Regueiro began his career with the film El buen amor (Good Love) in 1963. Since then he has been active in several fields as a director of films for the cinema. His Madregilda (1992) is a brillant satire about Franco and the screening of Rita Hayworth's Gilda. He has also made films for television, including parts of the series Pintores del Prado (Painters of the Prado) and has worked as a painter and a writer, whose works include film scripts and humorous stories for La Codorniz.
